Website Hosting

When developing websites we found we could not get the hosting we wanted. Hosting providers did not give us the level of access we required which meant we spent more time working around technical restrictions instead of designing sites.

For this reason we invested in our own servers. We currently run two web servers, one based in Telecity in Manchester Science Park, the other based in the Tier 1 data centre of RedBus Interhouse in Londons Docklands.

Both of our webserver systems run on the very reliable Linux platform with the worlds no.1 Apache web server. We utilise PHP and SQL database technology along with various Unix based software to lever the most from on-line technology.

We currently host only the websites we have developed in house, so we know the code is sound and does not create security or performance vulnerabilities.

As a fairly small provider of hosting we can modify the set-up of our servers at a moments notice to meet the needs of the programmer. Our servers are far from full and therefore suffer no performance degradation. This means our sites can be fast and designed without compromise.

We provide hosting for both email and websites. The costs for this generally start from around £30 per year. Although this cost does increase as bandwidth and file space usage  goes up.
